Abstract

Brisbane in South East Queensland currently has the most extensive urban sprawl of all Australian cities. This research estimates how land use intensification changes CO2, CH4, and N2O emissions and consequently influences the Global Warming Potential (GWP) of rural ecosystems undergoing urbanisation.
