 <para>Soil was incubated at controlled moisture content (60 and 85% Water filled pore space) for 70 days. Soil was extracted on a regular basis for measurement of mineral N (ammonium and nitrate). Gas samples were collected periodically for N2O with a  closure time of 24 hrs.</para>
